Project: Designing three collections for their gift shop
Client: Nucleus Arts, Chatham
Date: October - December 2017
Project: Working with five local schools to create a bespoke art piece that would be featured at their Christmas Concert in held in the Gillingham football club.
The brief was to use trees to represent an ever growing forest of schools in a community.
The artwork had to be similar but unique to each school.
Ranging from reception class to secondary school the techniques had to be diverse enough for the wide age range but still provide some level of skill to keep them entertained.
I chose to use a range of mediums including paper, card, material, buttons and leaves from the school grounds. By sticking to one colour scheme meant they were individual but the consistency of a tree silhouette brought them together.
Client: Fort Amherst, Chatham
Date: December 2017
Project: Designing a mascot for their Marketing and Educational materials.
After working with Chatham Dockyard, Fort Amherst approached me to create a design of a young soldier that they could use as the face of their site.
His name was to be Private Henry Hicks with his dog Dash. This came from records held at the Fort.
I worked with the local historian and the education team at Medway Council to produce this image, which has been used in promotional marketing, programmes and day events.
This photo was taken at his first ‘outing’ for the Medway River Festival in 2018
